OUR SERVICES
At VOZ Therapy Services, we specialized in bilingual and culturally sensitive speech & language therapy for Spanish & English speaking children and families in Southeast Orlando, Lake Nona & surrounding areas. Through our family-centered approach, we celebrate the diversity of every family that we serve. Our goal is to empower clients to find their voice by providing effective neuro-affirming therapy and tailored support for caregivers at home, in daycare, and beyond.

EARLY INTERVENTION

Is your baby or toddler not talking enough? Does your toddler have difficulty understanding what you tell them? Whether your child needs help saying their first words, or playing with toys, we can meet them where they are and support their development. Early language intervention is the perfect way to teach foundational language skills to your baby or toddler during routines and play-based activities. Caregivers are welcome to participate and learn supportive strategies!

Is your child struggling to produce certain sounds? We can help them use all age-appropriate sounds & correct their sound errors while using a child-lead and interactive approach. After establishing the nature and severity of your child’s speech errors, we will help your child develop & correct all age-appropriate speech sounds and say the words that matter most to them.

Does your child gets easily frustrated because they cannot communicate their wants and needs? Does your child have trouble following directions? After a comprehensive language evaluation, we can determine the nature of the language disorder, and a treatment plan will be designed. We use a neurodiversity affirming approach to support children with receptive/expressive language disorders and individuals that use scripts/echolalia to communicate.

Voz Therapy Services recognizes the importance of involving caregivers and families in their child’s language journey. Our 1-on-1 Caregiver Coaching Program is designed to help you build the knowledge and skills to better support your child’s communication needs at home and in everyday life activities.
MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Maried Román-Torres, M.S., CCC-SLP
Founder, Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
Maried is a board-certified bilingual (Spanish/English) speech-language pathologist who has complementary degrees in education, psychology and speech pathology. She received her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Carlos Albizu University at San Juan, Puerto Rico (2016). Maried’s extensive experience includes working with medically complex children in home health, outpatient clinics, schools and private practice settings. She founded VOZ Therapy Services, to deliver high-quality pediatric therapy services to bilingual children & their families.
HOW TO GET STARTED?
A certified therapist will conduct a comprehensive assessment about your child’s communications skills and identify areas of need. A written report with treatment goals will be shared following the evaluation.
If needed, individualized therapy sessions will be conducted in person at a frequency that best meets your child's needs.
